At the end of 2025, the NAFEMS SPDM Community Meeting gathered industry experts to explore the future of Simulation Process and Data Management (SPDM). We were proud to see Leonel Garategaray, SPDM Business Consultant at Inensia, and Ed Throp, Lead CFD Engineer at Mondelēz International, present their joint work.
Their case study, “Enabling R&D Through Digital Democratization: A Case Study in the Global Food Industry”, showcased how digital transformation and SPDM technologies are driving innovation in consumer goods. A central focus was the Digital Developer Portal (DDP) – a platform designed to democratize access to simulation and data management tools, empowering global R&D teams.
Key benefits of this approach include:
Accelerated time-to-market through streamlined processes
Improved collaboration across geographically distributed teams
Enhanced performance with data-driven decision-making
By embracing digital democratization, companies like Mondelēz are setting new benchmarks for innovation in the food industry. Inensia is proud to support these initiatives and help organizations unlock the full potential of SPDM systems.
